Ferrari 500 ----- F2 & Formula Libre ----------------------------------- version 20240608/9


 1951 version. Used in Formula 2 that year.

The original version, as found on Race department, represents the years '52 and '53.

The original version had only 10mm of front suspension travel and zero near infinite roll stiffness at the rear, and a few other things besides. (Doh! made a bad typo there)

I communicated this to the team, and unless they are as bad at communicating as I am, they seemed to shrug off those fatal flaws as unimportant. (a bit of both I suspect)

Again with the baked in AO, which belongs in the '00's, the skins don't quite work, you can see the previous exhaust shadow above.

versions 20240625: Fixed missing texture.

Swing axles and no LSD make these a tricky drive.

Only Factory versions were RHD, various chassis' and later bodies. (not modeled here)

Between 1962 and 1972, serial number 0718TR had a Chev' V8 installed for racing in America.

(0672MDTR & 0680MDTR) - 625 TRC 2 of came with the 2.5 litre 4
(0672MDTR) - 625 TRC/850 Monza also spent time with the even larger 3.4 litre 4 cylinder.

Road setup hampered somewhat as it was only built for Indianapolis.

Edit lods.ini to reference a .kn5 then right click the skin in CM to generate a new preview.

FIXED: Seems the steering wheel couldn't tell its sinistra from its destra.

Big Brother to the 250 GTO.

Reversed middle mirror and made collider more collision friendly.

LODs were missing wheels and transparency on the Headlights.

Each front wheel now pivots on its own axis.
