Forklift --------- version 20250614

Real, not just a bloody model stuck on top of some generic F1 physics.

-Changes made for Racing.-

Worked 2 litre motor 200 bhp

Rear swaybar and damper.

Hydraulic pump disconnected.

-COSMIC Suspension-

Solid front tyres and wheels mounted directly to the chassis

Solid rear tyres and wheels, kingpins and steering attached to a tilting beam mounted directly to the chassis

Torque converter with lockup clutch. Single speed. Interconnected brake, clutch.

Front wheels drive, rear wheels steer.

Create a new Controls Preset, say Forklift, under CM > Settings > Assetto Corsa > Controls > Save Preset

Assign your Brake as normal but also assign the Clutch to the Brake pedal from 0% to 10% travel.

In the 'Drive' tab use 'Car-Specific Controls' to use this preset with this car.

If the engine bogs down say below 3000rpm then tap the brake to unlock the Torque converter.

Requires CSP v0.2.4 or newer
And untick Settings > Custom Shaders Patch > General Patch Settings > Physics Experiments > 'Use extended physics for all cars and tracks'

  1. Crashes my AC for an unrecognizable reason. The vehicle loads but when the the race is supposed to start, the vehicle doesn't even show up and it gives me a "CPU > 99% load" warning. Clicking to start the race does nothing.

    2. I'm using CSP 0.2.12-preview1 and the aforementioned setting is unticked. Maybe some other issue?

  2. Working for me in WIN 11 but not WIN 10.
But that may be just a coincidence. I will need to investigate further.
