  3. Hey mate, nice work. Let me know if you're keen and I can offer some help to develop the car so it feels a little more realistic. Right now it feels like it weighs 500kg more than the real car, haha!

    1. With that in mind I made some changes, see above.
I'm doing high 1:30s at Winton rather than low 1:30s, but that is subject track accuracy and real life versus Sim differences.
But maybe a little bit more grip is needed?

    2. Any info you can pass along would be great.
For example real life spring & damper rates for the tyres.

      Cheers

    3. Copy mate, I’ll try when I can. We don’t really have much data onboard the cars, but etc there’s no anti roll bar in the rear.

    4. Still a fair way away, car has far too much understeer still.

Also, the ability to run the high df aero kit (like we do at Bathurst, Tailem Bend etc) would be good - I don't have any figures on how many points of downforce it adds but it's not massive. Should still be able to take the long right at Tailem Bend flat (using the laser scanned mod), right now it's a long way away.

Testing at the VRA SMP mod, which is a standard aero kit track, my best time of the weekend in the 2021 Shannons Nats round was a 1:41.0. Of course the mod track will be slightly different than reality, but still worth a comparison:

      - terminal speed at the end of the straight IRL was 205kmh, sim (with wind sent to 0) was 212kmh. I don't remember the wind from that day but no way would we ever hit 212kmh even with a massive tailwind. Termial velocity on Conrod in a draft pack is like 215 max.

We have lateral g in the onboard data, so rather than my qualitative musings I can send you the data file from the session (you will need to download the racepak software) and you can take a look for yourself.

    5. Also there's no ability to change the diff ratio in reality, we always run 2.5:1

    6. Tweaked quite a few things, see above.

  4. I couldn't get it to load with my AC, comes up with this error
Car’s blurred objects definitions (blurred_objects.ini) are incorrect: object RIM_LF is missing.

I've updated to latest CSP and still getting the same error

    2. I managed to get it to work by deleting the ini file, but had no engine audio! I'll delete the whole mod and try the updated version
