  3. Uses the driver model 'driver_oval', you should be able to find that in the top post of this Blog

  4. My favorite mod OF ALL TIME! I've been looking for a good Tour Mod forever! One question, if you happen to know; but is there a way to edit the grip or the body roll of the cars in the data file or anything, by chance? The physics are SO close, but I'm trying to see if I can get them a little closer to the Tour Mods from iRacing. Thank you so much for this mod! Seriously! I've sunk so many hours into it already and I just got it!

    1. What do you think the car needs to get it closer what you are after?
There is a lot that can be changed in the data files, but there may also be limitations to what can be done.
Let me know and we can experiment with a few changes.

    2. Hey! Thanks for the quick response! I would say that the car feels similar to the iRacing version, but the suspension seems floatier and has more body roll. I've noticed when going into corners that the car tends to have a good bit of body roll, and the back end likes to go around entering turns, almost as if something is pulling the back end around. The ones I've driven in iRacing tend to be planted and have very little body roll to them; a little harder to spin the tires also. I wonder if altering weight distribution would help, possibly? If it's possible to shift weight further back perhaps? Or even lighten up the cars a little (the Tour Mods weigh in at 2,645lbs with a 358 CI engine making 650HP)? Just some ideas of course! I cannot appreciate enough what you've done for the community with these modifieds; there's a ton of guys in a circle track group I'm in that are obsessed with these and they don't even know this mod is out yet. It's seriously my favorite mod of all time, and I appreciate every little detail you've put in to this!

    3. Default Dampers where too high in the rear, fixed that and added some Yaw aero/drag so getting sideways should be a little easier as you start to push against the air.

With some setup work I can get a 12.767 at Hickory?

  5. Is there any chance you can make a road course variant with symmetrical alignment settings? I'd love to give Lime Rock or Watkins Glen a run in these things.

  6. Definitely feeling better! I'm trying to find a car with the closest body roll/grip to what the real life Tour Mods feel like, and so far, it looks like the C5-R made by Legion has the closest body roll/grip to what I've driven in iRacing. Bascially, if we had the grip/suspension (or close) of the C5-R, paired with the lighter weight and higher power output of the Tour Mods, I think it'd be a very close match. I've been benchmarking laptimes to my local home tracks (Bowman Gray Stadium and North Wilkesboro), and so far, the current mod isn't too far off a typical lap time...maybe .500 to a second or so. I think with just some very minor tweaks, the physics would be super close to the real deal. The biggest thing I've been noticing is just that the car feels like it's on ice going into turns, especially ones with very little to no banking, and the back likes to come around a lot on entry. Again dude, and I cannot stress this enough, thank you so much for all you do! This is seriously incredible and I know a lot of guys out there are gonna be ecstatic when they play this mod for the first time!

Great to see another Carolina guy. Wish we had a version of BG or Wilkesboro for Assetto!

    2. Boy do I have a surprise for you then lol. There's a group on FB that has actually made both tracks. That's what I run on every day lol. The gentleman that runs this site may also have them on here somewhere, I'm not sure. But if he doesn't and it's okay with him, I can point you to the FB group that has them!

    4. Remove if not allowed, but the FB group that has Bowman Gray and North Wilkesboro is called Assetto Corsa NASCAR Mod. A gentleman named Edgar De Ochoa made them/ported them. He usually links all them via a Google drive. I've been running Bowman Gray all week in the this awesome Tour Modified!
