  1. For those who already downloaded previously.
    Open lods.ini in the cars data folder and replace:

    FILE=porsche_917k_71_TWO_FLAPS.kn5 with FILE=porsche_917k_71.kn5

  2. Found a problem, wheels (3d animation) arent changing angles when adjusting in alignment, (toe,camber) It even seems to have positive camber in the front when looking at replay. Haha..
    Something wrong with dummys?

    1. Cars with pre-rendered animations don't allow the setup changes to be seen.
      Check out the Kunos Lotus 49 for an example.

  3. Game crashes when you drive Sharkfin version. BLURRED NODE (RIM_BLUR_LF) WHEELINDEX[0]: CANNOT LOCATE OBJECT

    1. This car doesn't have wheel blur. Please make sure you have my version and not the version Paul Williams 'fixed'.

      However if you open 'blurred_objects.ini' and delete all the lines, then that error should disappear.

      Why no wheel blur, see my post under the 'Quotes' label.

  4. Thanks for all your work! But I'm curious... recently the 917Ks (70 and 71) load times have dramatically dropped. I used to run a race and the cars would load incredibly fast one after another. Tonight they are taking 4 to 5 seconds per car to load in for a race. Any thoughts as to why this would be happening? I've been searching the interwebs for answers and am trying different tweaks in Content Manager (which is SO fantastic) but no luck. Vanilla AC cars still load zippity quick, but not my beloved 917s anymore. Thanks for any ideas/help!

  6. As I understand, there is no wheels animation for models NO_FINS, RAM_AIR, THREE_FLAPS?

    1. Those models are ONLY for taking preview shots and cannot be used in game.

  8. Hello!
    Would you please consider adding working wipers to all the various 917/512 models - they're the best ones available by far, but without the working wipers, the new rain effects make them impossible to drive in the rain... not that you don't have enough to do already! :)

  9. Hi! The wipers doesnt wipe off the water from the windshield! The Kunos 917 does that.. I have tried adding:
    [WIPERS_TRACE_...]
    SURFACE = windshield
    WIPERS = wiper_dummy_8_mesh, wiper_dummy_7_mesh
    in extension folder, but it doesnt help..? What is the problem?
