  1. This car is wonderful. I hope someone does an authentic skin (number 22 with Jochen's name on the side). Is there any chance of an earlier winged version? For some reason his race number changed in practically all the races (6 in France, 10 in Netherlands etc.) The 72D we have now is no substitute. Also sorry to be picky with such a great car but treaded tyres would be nice as well. Thanks for this and all your other work.

  2. Apologies I now see the tyres are lightly treaded. Hard to see when driving even in VR!

  3. Thanks
Almost did the skins, but ran out of puff, would be good to have both drivers, what's his name drove sans wings in practice.
This one was just a quick add & subtract from the Kunos 72D.
The tyres are treaded just very worn.(and the texture mapping has a wiggle in it)

  4. As I understand it John Miles driving the 72 without wings in practice, before Jochen was killed, decided he was out of there, refused to drive further and got sacked.
I have found a Simdream 72C with wings, model is ok but physics a bit lacking, could do with a tweak. i might ask if the Finnish guy on GT Planet who tweaked the SD 1993s might take a look. This is absolutely my favourite period: 1965-1979 F1. Can't wait for your other late 60s cars once your league is run.

  5. That's the same rF1 mod I took the airbox and oiltank from, remodeled and retextured.
I tend to steer clear of wholesale conversion from rFactor, just because of the quality.

  6. Thanks for this car!... Jochen Rindt was the best ever... :) and it also fits perfectly for the Indy500 (it feels great) as there are no CART/Indycars from that era out there.
