    2. That's odd. I wonder what could be different between your install and mine. I have the Shader Patch but aren't seeing the problems. Please double check you have version 201906301200, but other than that I'm at a loss. If you happen to find a settign in the Shader Patch that affects this please let me know.

Thanks for these updates. No idea why Kunos didn't include Mugello Short in the original release so thanks for adding it. Know what would be cool? Reverse layouts of all the tracks that don't normally allow it. Someone did a reverse version of Barcelona GP a few years ago and it was awesome, like a brand new track. What do you reckon?

  4. Hello, is it possible for you to make pre 2010 silverstone layout? the mesh is kinda there but need to remove barriers and add to modern layout. Would be much appreciated

    1. Sorry, probably not, for three reasons.

E-Prix is really popular now so I wouldn't be surprised if a version gets made, if not already.

I almost did this layout myself, confusing it for an Historic layout.

And lastly I really hate E-Prix, not being electric per say but the Mario kart like Fan boost, fake rocket engine exhausts and whatnot, just throw in some Bananas and Turtles be done with it. LOL

      Delete
    2. Fan-boost is necessary evil. It's lame but they have to somehow get people participate in it. They also broadcast races free on YouTube. Formula E improved a lot since it's beginning. You should give it another chance.

    1. Changed the solid tyre bundles to dome shaped speed humps.
Still can't cut the corners as the hump is quite big and upsets the car. But this way hitting the bundles doesn't destroy your car or block the track.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Your monaco_75_20200423 version has big AI problem as cars coming out of the pits in "weekend qualifying" are creamed by cars coming from the main straight (out of nowhere) and then they litter the straight. Please have a look. Thanks for your great work!

    ReplyDelete
  37. Upon further testing of monaco_75_20200423...I tried that "qualy" sessions a few times and was able to enter the track without an obstructing car and qualify. However...as I entered the race session there is a car that never left the grid on race start. When those cars that cleared him come around the S/F line at the main straight for lap 2, that car is still there (and will stay there all race) ruining the race. Any thoughts?

  40. Superb work on Monaco 75 and 85! Please note that in monaco_85_20200424 the cars (1975 mod used) clip the left side of pit exit and spin onto the main straight causing James Hunt to throw his helmet to the ground and threaten to quit F1. LOL.
Seriously, please have a look. That last left side section may be trim-able. Amazing work- congratulations.

  41. Referencing monaco_85_20200424, please note that (at least the F1 1975 cars) (after clearing pit exit-thanks for that fix) do clip the inside (right side) at the first turn (St. Devote) and spin after contact. James Hunt would be very happy if they could have more clearance on that side. Thanks as always !

  43. Another feedback on your monaco_75_20200426, this time: A car that gets too close inside (right side) of turn one (St Devote) will go through the armco wall and fall down and out of the track. That whole section needs to be made solid. Thanks as always.

  44. How have you fucked up silverstone classic so much!? Why have you added cones and direction boards. and why have you removed the chicane into the silverstone wing section? That is so wrong

    2. Sorry, i didn't mean to be nasty. But it is clear that the chicane into the silverstone wing was still present in that classic layout so i'm unsure as to why that has been changed in all honesty. Please update this to revert that set of corners correctly and removing all those cones and direction boards. Then I'd have no issue with it

  45. Just downloaded Monza's extra layouts. For someone they might not be a big thing but I love them. I wonder would you have any interest in making some other reverse layouts if you ever have time? I have this perversion for Red Bull Ring, I think it would be very interesting to try it in reverse. And Black Cat County too. I think all the other Kunos' tracks has reverse layouts already.

Just throwing you some ideas here. Thousand thanks for the great amount of great content you've brought to us already.

  49. Hello ... Hello ... I made an update on my PC, this week, I had to reinstall several games and copy the mods I already had (Assetto Corsa etc ...). I went to test the Monaco 72, and now it's buggy. When I come out of the pits, there is a dark part on the asphalt, and already in the curve of the Tabacaria, several strange things in the graphics. Did you happen to update anything in those days? Thank you very much in advance.

  54. Hi! I'm happy I found your alternative layouts such as for the Nurburgring and Silverstone tracks. I hope this is not too much to ask, it's just a couple of details. I can help with making the TV cams work properly.
It's fun to remember the old Farm straight, Bridge and Priory part. But can you also make this latest Historic Silverstone layout they ran this weekend at the Silverstone classic?
    1. Normal modern GP track except the last bit entering the Club corner not being a slow chicane but fast esses, like you did earlier on your historic layout. Here: https://www.racingcircuits.info/europe/united-kingdom/silverstone.html it is under Historic Grand Prix Circuit.
    2. They use the current modern GP pits on the Hamilton straight. If you can/want, make the old original pits version too.
    3. Please can you make it 36 or 32 pits at least like the OSRW versions, instead of regular Kunos' 24 pits?
    4. And PLEASE remove all the slow down effects from the off track asphalt areas that are in the original track surfaces. That's bollocks putting it in sims just to punish people running off a bit, as if not counting your lap wasn't enough. BTW I don't know if it's a mistake, but on your historic version, off track is defined as the pit lane surface. So if you go off track, the pit menu and pit speed limiter turns on instantly locking up the tires xD

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Hey, thanks a lot, that was quick! I'm sorry for a bit late reply. Still to fix the cameras and send the link for them to you. Then I hope make a few updates and add the cams.
For now it seems the timing is messed with the Historic Winged pits. I got a 10 seconds lap PB recorded somehow in an AI race and I don't know how I did it :D Otherwise in offline single practice it worked ok.
But man, your Classic layout with original pits is cursed with the pitstop speed limiter turning on when going off track. Did you see that? Also, on the same layout, the actual pitstop exit road should have no speed limit once you've passed the pit wall/barriers. Instead it is set to force the car under speed limit all the way until you reach the straight into Maggots. Maybe I had the wrong idea and was supposed to not use that longer piece of exit road but cut into the track earlier.
Anyway, the Historic with original pits seems ok. No issues with lock up pit speed limiter areas off track, and the pit exit road speed limiter is ok, meaning it ends when you reach the end of pit wall barriers after 1st turn.

      Delete
    2. Hope that's all fixed in today's update.

      Delete
    3. Hey, alright, here I am! Here's the link with the fixed all cameras for all three layouts, a little bit of originals and my improvisations for: classic, historic_orig and historic_winged. Sorry it took a bit longer:
      https://www.mediafire.com/file/k3qje61dcmuems6/ks_silverstone_cameras_classic%252Bhistoric_orig%2526winged_layouts.7z/file
You need both the camera ini files and the CSV files to be in their data folders because there are some shots which require those CSVs that are used for dolly type camera travel movements across an area.
Probably by mistake, there were all layouts and models included in the last update you made, so the archive was big and was asking to overwrite my original stuff too. But I managed to see what's what.
Another one small thing left is that for the historic_winged layout, the styrofoam arrows barriers and cones are missing at the last complex, Vale into Club corner. The ones blocking the way into slow modern chicane and showing the path left through the faster old corner towards Club. They're not there like with the historic_orig layout. Can you put them there too? That should make it all perfect and then I guess you can upload it with cameras as the final update :)
